Elena Cobb Star Prize Festival Nominated for the Outstanding Classical Music Education Initiative Award 2019

EVC Music and The British and International Federation of Festivals are delighted to share the news that Elena Cobb Star Prize Festival at the Royal Albert Hall was nominated for the Outstanding Classical Music Education Initiative Award at the 2019 Music Teacher Awards for Excellence. We are privileged to offer this unique performance opportunity for the young pianists from around the world playing new classical music by the living composers. We also want to congratulate all finalist and wish them every success in their work and contribution to the music education. A message from the Federation:

The British and International Federation of Festivals are delighted that the Elena Cobb Star Prize Festival at the Royal Albert Hall has  been shortlisted for the Awards for Excellence! This exciting partnership allows for extraordinary experiences to be offered to young performers and we are proud of our involvement! We want to say a huge congratulations and thank you to Elena for her support over the years. It’s truly fantastic to see the Federation grow with the help and support of awards such as Elena’s. The ceremony will be held on 6^th March 2019 at a fantastic gala evening in the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel in Piccadilly in which the winners will be announced – be sure to go and support!
