Christian Gerald M. Esteban from Darien, IL USA is a 6th grade student who believes that:

At the Elena Cobb Star Prize Festival at the Royal Albert Hall Elgar Room, Gerald will be performing Albatross Étude-Tableau by Andrew Higgins from the popular collection Birds Études-Tableaux.
Gerald’s musical journey started with formal piano and singing lessons at the age of five with Lori Graves and currently he attends piano lessons with Sueanne Metz and violin lessons with Edward Kreitman.
Gerald made his Carnegie Hall Weill Recital Hall debut on April 2018 for winning the 1 prize in piano at the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition.
From the age of five, Gerald enjoyed taking part in competitions and won the Age Champion title for piano at the American Guild of Music (AGM) National Competition, the Age Champion for Vocals in Broadway category and All-Around Keyboard champion title at the AGM nationals.
At the local scene, when he was eight-years-old, he won the 1st prize at the Illinois Music Association (IMA) state competition performing on senior level.
Gerald was a finalist and received an honourable mention at the 2018 Carmel Klavier International Piano Competition and he also won the 1st prize in Great Composers Competition for the Best Schumann Performance in 2018.
His interest in music branches out from formal competitions to the local community where he serves playing music for Sunday church mass and school choir.
In his free time, Gerald enjoys swimming and reading.
