Yael Kolbovsky’s Debut Solo Piano Recital in London

On 29 August, 2019, Yael Koldovsky, a gifted young pianist from Israel to give her debut piano recital in the United Kingdom.

Yael Koldovsky has received prizes in many piano competitions. Born and raised in Israel, she has studied with Tania Kozlova from the age of eight and is currently her student at the Israel Conservatory of Music in Tel Aviv. She also receives a scholarship from the Secrets of Culture (Tzfonot Tarbut) and the American Israel Cultural Foundations since 2019. She appeared as a soloist with the Israeli Chamber Orchestra, Beer-Sheva Israeli Sinfonietta, Ashdold Symphony Orchestra, Alicante University Philharmonic Orchestra and Ukraine National Symphony Orchestra and in the recent years took part in the Music Fest Perugia Festival in Italy, International Festival Dynasty in Ukraine, Aviv Kameri Chamber Music Festival and Tel Hai International Piano Masterclasses in Sde Boke in Israel. Recently, her solo recital was streamed on the Israeli National Sounds of Music Radio channel. Yael regularly attends masterclasses with the world’s leading pianists and piano pedagogues and is currently considered one of the most gifted young pianists in Israel.

 

Yael’s recital is part of the Elena Cobb Star Prize Festival Teacher Training Day Jazz Edition at the Peregrine’s Pianos in London and the programme will include:

Scarlatti, Sonata K.466 F minor 
Chopin, Sonata in B flat minor
Martin, New York Nights 
Gershwin, Rhapsody in Blue
Kapustin, Variations Op.41 in F Major
